You find the public record in two way by public and private access…Searching public records at a government agency can be time consuming and frustrating as many state agencies use old methods of keeping the records. They use paper files, and even if some them get entered on the computer, they will not necessarily have complete file records on their system. If you need a copy of the criminal record, you will need to make a trip to the official agency and obtain the report there by paying the copy fee. Private enterprises are often more advanced. They collect the public records data from the official agencies by sending their personnel to compile the data. The database is then available for internal use or for resale purposes. Your ability to obtain access to it, however, may be limited to what the company wishes to give the public access to.
